Alli Joseph is an on-camera host, journalist/producer, family historian and published author. She frequently lectures and leads seminars on branding, oral history, and entrepreneurship.  She is currently a Contributing Editor and on-camera host for Salon.com.

Alli developed her broadcast, journalism and marketing skills over many years' time working on-air, online, and in print for large media companies like Scripps (Food Network), Grey Worldwide, Margeotes, Fertitta & Partners, News Corporation, Viacom (VH1 and CBS News), Cablevision, WB, Hotjobs.com/Yahoo, AOL, Time Inc., and Hachette Filipacchi Media.  As an author, she co-wrote "The Shaolin Way: Ten Modern Secrets of Survival from a Shaolin Grandmaster", for Harper Collins Entertainment.  Last year, Alli produced the PBS documentary Conscience Point, which aired in fall 2019 on Independent Lens.

A Native [sic] New Yorker, Alli relies upon her Shinnecock Indian heritage to inform her work as a personal and family historian through her company Seventh Generation Stories through which she saves family, community and corporate stories for private clients, non-profits, and companies.  She believes wholly in the conservation philosophy of the Seventh Generation: that is, preserving heritage for children, and acting in a manner that will positively affect seven generations living after this one.
